WarFriends is a real-time player-vs-player shooter game.

If you loved playing Army as a kid, you’ll love this even more. Each player is given a starter set of weapons and army units to deploy in battle.  As you progress in the game, you earn gold bars and war bucks you can use to buy and upgrade more powerful weapons and units. As you gain experience, you rank up and unlock still more weapons, units, and abilities.

In battle, players are matched against other players of similar rank and power. Players are organized into leagues, (bronze silver gold, elite, and master) based upon how they perform in PvP. Additionally, players can join or start squads (guilds) which are also organized into leagues based on overall squad performance.



Gameplay requires some strategy



In addition to PvP battles, they are daily “missions”.  Some missions are solo missions, and some are cooperative missions where you invite a buddy to play alongside you. You can also challenge a friend to 1-on-1 battle for fun

 What do you like best about WarFriends?
The coolest feature of the game might be the ability to accessorize your player character with helmets, hats, sunglasses, cigars, eyepatches, etc. that you score from loot boxes that occasionally show up after a match.  These don’t affect gameplay, but it’s way fun.

Are there any similarities to WZ?
WarFriends is almost like WZ with a different skin. You will recognize many of the same elements that made WZ so much fun. You level up units & weapons. You join squads/guilds, NO FARMING though. :-)

How does someone find friendly WZ players to play with?
They are a lot of WZ refugees already playing WarFriends. Members of Last Of Them Survivors & xxRICHxx have formed Last.of.Them. We bring the same chatty, friendly, fun, and obsessive gameplay to WarFriends as we did to WZ. Chances are you know some folks here already.  There’s also UMBRELLACORP, started by WZ alumni royemvic.

When I first saw Princess Fairy Rush,  I was skeptical. For one thing, I wasn't sure I fit the demographic of players they were aiming for - which appeared to be pre-teen girls. You collect characters and level them up. There are three types of campaigns as well as PvP. Gameplay is simple. Quick questions with Beaker: What do you like best about KOF'98 UM OL?
