Stream Legends

Available on: as an extension on Twitch channels from here (More about how to play soon)

Brought to you by: Gordon

Stream Legends is from Proletariat (yes, really this time!), the developers of World Zombination.

Stream Legends is a mini-RPG that can be played while watching a twitch channel. Channel viewers can fight monsters, collect loot and level up their characters and viewers can work together to build a town for the channel. Stream Legends requires the channel owner to install the Stream Legends extension.

Some quick questions with Gordon:

What do you like best about Stream Legends?
My favorite thing about playing StreamLegends is just being able to scratch that progression and character development itch while I’m at work…haha. Also that it can be played even when a broadcaster isn’t online—there was a big channel grinding away yesterday even when the broadcaster hadn’t been streaming for 10+ hours. As a dev, I really like how there are super unique guilds (because each channel is unique) that are fully accessible by everyone. Also that this is a piece of technology that we can potentially build some really cool features into and, ultimately, spread into other products. Very exciting times!
Yep. I have a flaming sword. Deal with it.

Does it work at the moment on mobile twitch or the twitch apps or do people need a PC to play?
It doesn’t work natively—yet. Twitch extensions don’t work in the mobile app or the mobile layout of Twitch. I believe if you set your mobile browser to deliver the desktop version, it will work, though. We’re working on figuring out a good way to make it work on our end, but I’m not sure how quickly that will happen. It started out as a web app that had a mobile-compatible layout, so it’s possible that we’ll get that running again, but we need to be sure it will work across that and the Twitch ecosystem. Best I can say is…stay tuned!

The eternal question: Which pants should I wear today?

What are some channels which are using Stream legends that people can check out?
Most active channels in the past 24 hrs: JoshOG, ZeratoR, melharucos, Anthony_Kongphan, WeAreTheVR. Most players overall: ZeratoR, Herdyn, itsHafu, Videoyun, WeAreTheVR. (these aren’t ranked…just giving you a handful of channel that have been busy or have built big player bases).

Note from Octavia: Llama Warrior has a channel here with it on here

Vital Stats:
Guilds: Sort of - the channel becomes a guild
Chat: Yes, plenty on the twitch channel
Zombies: Possibly (I forgot to ask Gordon, I know there are goblins!)

Description from Developer:

A legendary new way to watch Twitch
StreamLegends is an RPG you play in a channel's Twitch panel that allows you to fight monsters, earn loot, and level up your character while you form a guild with other viewers to build the channel's town, unlock raids, and share in the spoils!

Twitch extensions are now available for broadcasters to add to their channels and we're excited to announce StreamLegends, as one of the first available. Tell your favorite streamer about it or get it for your own channel!

Princess Fairy Rush

Available:  iOS and Android Brought to you by K Estes (aka Crunchy Crotch, Goose, and DeathGrips) The latest offering from Proletariat, Princess Fairy Rush is an innovative blend of both the Princess and Fairy genres. With real-time PvP, immersive game-play, and a compelling narrative, Princess Fairy Rush will be your go-to game. Some quick questions with K Estes What do you like best about this game? When I first saw Princess Fairy Rush,  I was skeptical. For one thing, I wasn't sure I fit the demographic of players they were aiming for - which appeared to be pre-teen girls. However, as it was a Proletariat game, I gave it the benefit of the doubt and I gave it a go. I can confidently say any gender and age can enjoy Princess Fairy Rush, without any compromises to their masculinity. I, in fact, am even more manly after playing it. My voice became noticeably lower and a post gaming session audit revealed 6 new chest hairs. Are there any similarities with WZ? There su

Rebuild 3: Gangs of Deadville

Available: iOS, Android, and PC (not free; a game where you have to buy it, but no IAPs - currently NZ$7.99 on Android (probably about US$5) Brought to you by: Octavia Blue Rebuild 3 is a strategy game set after the zombie apocalypse. Think Civilization meets The   Walking Dead . Shortly before I started playing World Zombination, I found and played through Rebuild mobile on iOS (basically Rebuild 2). I really liked it and played it through several times to get all the endings. Rebuild 3 is a bigger, better, and slightly more complex game. It won't be your WZ replacement as it is a single player game (so no guilds etc), but if you like strategy games, it is worth getting. (I have the PC version, which I got as part of a Humble Bundle. I am pretty sure I got the Rebuild 2 mobile version on a half-price sale at some point, so keep your eyes open for a sale).
